(Not to mention an extremely annoying letter from the IRS complaining that I didn't send them enough money LAST year.)

Don't those IRS people have enough money? Why do they keep taking ours?
I am starting to contemplate doing my taxes...
If they have any reason to improve healthcare so we can live longer, it's so we can pay taxes longer. Remember what Leona Helmsley said (on her way to jail, I think): "Rich people don't pay taxes--little people pay taxes!"
ryc: It's isn't a crown thingy although it closely resembles a crown thingy in this picture. It's actually a black hat with gold elephants on it and it's turned backwards. I have to admit, it does look like a crown thingy.
That'd make anyone see red! (I once had to pay owed taxes, the interest of which were astronomical!)

We had to pay almost $1500. two years ago. I was really pissed. I wanted to put our check into the cat box and "season" it a bit before posting it but Mrs. Morhua didn't want me to raise the ire of the IRS (or simply vanish without a trace).
We need to buy more scud missiles Feef! Pony up!
My husband and I owed $4000 this year, because of some sort of bonus. I bet it's really our "war bill."

I am afraid to see what we will owe... our deductible things got less and I am betting we're gonna get hit with about 3 grand more...
Ah, they never have enough money it seems. Always takin' our money. And I certainly didn't come out smelling like a rose this year!

I have to get mine in tomorrow - I found out that they weren't due till the 17th this year which mearly gave me more time to procrastinate. I'm really scared that I'm going to owe this year.

^^^^^^Kaz mustn't be too far from me... the local river is just about at flood stage now, tomorrow is gonna be bad for the folks who live nearby... we picked the top of a hill and are in decent shape, but our tiny, usually dry stream is pretty full now too!
RYC- I would like to get angry at the kids, but you know what? They aren't getting any instruction from the parents ! Someone has to teach them to say thank you... but if it is me then it sounds like I am making them get me something... you know what I mean? Don't know what religion you are, but if you are Catholic, Sunday Mass is a requirement... not an option... the parents don't take the kids to church, so the kids don't know that our church considers it a sin to miss.... you would think a basic like that would be taught at home....

Good ole Willie... the master of tax invasion. I love Willie, I think he was just high and forgot... I am sure that is what happened.
